Digital Products and Services
Taking Your Business Online offers digital products and services for purchase to its readers and subscribers, including downloads and online services.
All refunds are discretionary. If you download all of the training materials or complete more than 30% of the course and then ask for a refund, we reserve the right to deny your request. Our refund policy is designed to give people the opportunity to see if a course is a good fit for them. Pirating the course is not covered under this policy.
In order to qualify for a refund you may need to meet certain criteria, examples of which include but are not limited to:
- Introducing yourself in the course group;
- Participating in at least one live, course-related call (Q&A Call, Wednesday Workshop, etc.);
- No more than 30% of the course completed.
If your course does not include live, course-related calls, or a course group, please contact our support team regarding the specific criteria needed to qualify for your refund.
Some of our products and services also offer a longer but conditional guarantee based on meeting certain product-specific requirements; for example, completing all of the necessary homework assignments. Please refer to individual refund policies or contact our support team for more information.
Where products or services are offered on a payment plan, the overall cost is split into a fixed schedule of smaller payments which are collected at regular intervals until all of the payments have been made.
For the purposes of refunds, the discretionary 14-day refund policy is considered to start from the date of the first payment, not of any subsequent payment.
Please note that Taking Your Business Online. reserves the right to offer payment plans whose price after all instalments have completed is higher than the equivalent single payment for the same product or service.
PayPal Recurring Payment Plans (IMPORTANT)
Where a product or service has been purchased on a subscription or payment plan basis using PayPal, it is not possible for us to cancel future payments on your behalf. You will need to do this manually after you have notified of your cancellation.
